In John 3 a Jewish lieder, "Nicodemus", went to see Jesus and started his conversation by praising Jesus.
In John 3.2 " the same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him."
What was "Nicodemus" trying to get with that conversation?
Maybe he was trying to put himself in a powerful position?
Jesus replied:
" Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
"Nicodemus" was getting the answers to his questions.
Jesus said that men should be born through water and the Holy Spirit in order to enter the kingdom of God.
Jesus said that the Jewish rituals that he once knew didn't save him, that only baptism through water was a true demonstration of faith in Christ, through which he was testifying that the sins would perish and you would be reborn into a new life.
The rituals that "Nicodemus" knew didn't lead him into heaven, but instead lead him into birth through Christ.
This is an invitation for you to come and be born through the Words of God from the surrender of your heart to Jesus.
